Andrea’s Community Involvement

Since 2004, Andrea along with her husband, Kevin, and their son Brian, has been proud to call Rockford home. Taking an active role in her son’s public school education (first at Lakes Elementary, then ERMS, and now RFC), she has been a reliable volunteer at school activities, led the PTO, and achieved record-setting fundraising goals. Andrea is actively involved with the Rockford bands, water polo, and Odyssey of the Mind. She served on the Inter-School Advisory Council from 2018-2022. Andrea was appointed to the School Board in July 2021 and served as a trustee through December 2022. Since then, Andrea has served as a chairperson of the Inter-School Advisory Council. Andrea is committed to serving our children and ensuring that each Rockford student receives the quality education they need to succeed in global society.

Andrea Jacobson is a proven leader whose dedication and first-hand experience working with our students, parents, teachers, and administration has made her a strong partner in the continued success of Rockford’s public schools.
